Transport and Mobility
Big Climate Shifts

There are great opportunities for a shift in three areas within transport.
Development within emission-free utility transport must be accelerated. Skift's members want to use our purchasing power and set targets for emission-free transport of goods and services in their own business. At the same time, the public sector should take the lead through their own significant purchases, and facilitate rapid development through, for example, emission-free zones.
At the same time, it is important that we optimize utility and passenger transport in our cities. Skift itself wants to continue the green fleet project and recommends connecting the network to Oslo's SmartBy strategy.
The pandemic has caused major changes in behavior related to transport. Many of these changes are here to stay and should contribute to emission cuts as much as possible. The members of Skift want to work for changed habits that support green mobility.
The group work is based on the Skift-note from 2021. (in Norwegian)
Current projects:
- Sharing of data from the transport sector and optimization of data (AI).
- Increased use of car-sharing solutions for businesses instead of owning/leasing their own car fleet.
- Electrification of the transport sector.
