Climate Change Adaption
The climate in Norway is changing, bringing more frequent extreme weather events and natural disasters. Society and businesses alike must adapt to this new reality, and the Norwegian business community must begin addressing these challenges today.

Climate adaptation involves acknowledging the reality of a changing climate, assessing its impacts, and implementing measures to either mitigate risks or harness potential opportunities.
The project initiators highlight a pressing concern: too few companies and organizations have the expertise and resources needed to approach climate adaptation systematically. This weakens collaboration with the authorities, increases business risks, and jeopardizes the ability of Norwegian firms to seize the competitive opportunities inherent in becoming climate-resilient.
To begin to address this challenge, Fremtind, KBN, and Skift have developed a list of eight immediate measures that companies can implement to initiate their work on climate change adaptation.
